Delegation of the University of Warsaw Visits CCNU

On April 11th, a delegation from the University of Warsaw (UW) led by Prof. Marcin Tobiasz, Deputy Director of the Institute of Political Sciences of UW, paid a visit to the School of Politics and International Studies in CCNU. Relevant staffs and teacher representatives from CCNU met with the delegation.

After introducing the schools  respectively, the two sides engaged in in-depth talks on teacher exchange, student exchange and cooperation in publishing academic articles. The two sides planned to sign the framework agreement as soon as possible and hoped to carry out practical cooperation in terms of short-term student exchange, summer camp, international conference, reciprocal visits among scholars and joint application for Erasmus Mundus Programme.

The University of Warsaw is one of the top 300 prestigious universities all over the world as well as the top higher education institution of Central and Eastern Europe. Founded in 1816, it is a renowned research university, the largest state university in Poland and has always ranked first in Poland in recent years. The Institute of International Relations in this college is of the largest scale and ranks top 50-100 of its field all around the world. And in 2017, the Politics discipline of the School of Politics and International Studies in CCNU was added into the national “Double First-rate” list. The cooperation of both sides will effectively promote the development of related disciplines and the Politics discipline of CCNU.
